Attendance at Salford was just 2449 and virtually half (1220) were from Port Vale. 🤣

RIP Stanno, City Legend never to be forgotten
The thing is it's very difficult to say what is or isn't an easy run at this stage of the season. You can argue that it's not a good time to play teams in a relegation battle as they're fighting for their lives, it's not a good time to play teams desperately trying to make play offs or secure autos, and those in between with nothing left to win or lose are playing for their futures, new contracts, and generally play with freedom as there's nothing to lose.

It's why the end of season always throws up some strange results.
Appreciate your point but if you wouldn't take Northampton's run in compared to ours, you're mental......

Well, that’s probably right.

Three of the four teams in a PO position have lost twice as many games as ourselves, the fourth has lost 5 more. Bar a spectacular late implosion, we’re going up - relax !

Yes, and there was just a paltry 2,784 including 390 from Mansfield for Forest Green's 'title decider' last night.

Salford and FGR - two phoney clubs who have everything, apart from history and a supporter base.

If only promotion was decided on games lost!

Or on the old fashioned 2 points for a win. Then the teams in the play off places would all need to win not 2, but 3, more games than us to overtake us. We'd be almost there.

(other snippets from the table. All 6 teams directly behind FGR have won precisely 19 games. City are miles out in front on games drawn - the highest number of draws amongst any side in the top half)

Without the ecotricity player sponsorship big bucks they will have to cut their wage bill by more than half or run foul of FFP regs. What a tinpot way to win a league.

On Oddschecker it looks like a two team race for the championship The Vegans are odds on ranging from 1/10 -1/33 and us as outsiders ranging from 7/1 - 11/1, others like Port Vale are in the 40's -90's as are Mansfield

For promotion only two sites taking bets on the Vegans at 1/500 and we are now odds on generally ranging 1/8 -1/10, Port Vale less 'attractive' odds on for the third spot with Mansfield roughly evens

Not that it counts for anything mind

I would be careful chastising clubs for low attendances. Compared to Bradford and even Swindon our gates are poor, I think we are something like 9th or 10th in the league?
Its all about the manager and the players he picks.
