Don't forget Conquistador, or the even more magnificent A Salty Dog!

The aforementioned saline canine was actually the first album (as opposed to single) I ever bought. On the old blue Regal Zonophone label IIRC

Many say that Crimson were the "fathers of prog". For me PH were right up there too.

Sadly ironic that both Ian McD and Gary B passed in such rapid succession.

I've got Salty Dog on vinyl. I always liked Homburg. "Your overcoats too small"

Thanks so much for that DB. Not come across that particular one before but how fantastic!!!

With many singers the vocals seem to weaken with age. In that one, grey hair and white beard notwithstanding, his were twice as powerful as the original.

A friend of mine, not knowing what 'trouser cuffs' (aka 'turn ups') were, thought they were using a euphemism he knew for fart; "your trouser coughs are dirty"

No reason yet for his death but last year was put in an induced coma after contracting Covid but had recovered somewhat. RIP

To be honest, he did very well to get to 57 given his extra curricular activities.
