Nick Hawker says building to start after the scoreboard goes up, so when will it happen?

I might be missing something here (probably a brain cell!! 😁) but why is the commencement of work at the C&F dependent upon completion of the magic - though hopefully not mythical - scoreboard?

Surely they are entirely separate projects, geographically as well as in terms of resource requirements?

(Or does Chas only have the one shovel??)

Just had the Trust Merry Christmas email and it mentions the signing of the contract for the development of The Cliff Hill Training Ground this week. Obviously the financial due diligence report from an external accountancy firm was okay. Is this available for public viewing or should I say ‘Owner’ viewing?!
I personally don’t think any single step of this process should be underestimated because the possibility of something going wrong are quite high and as we are investing a considerable sum of money in this with a guarantee of a big loan from The Trust to cover shortfalls it could lead to financial ruin.
I know it’s very uncertain times with the unpredictability of covid but our main source of income is selling players at a large return to keep our income on track. If worse case scenario the season is curtailed again we might end up losing players for nothing or a fraction of what we expected. How would that impact on all the figures?!

Not sure whether you are fishing but why on earth would any of us expect to be shown such reports given that is why we have a Club and Trust Board.

Fishing for what?! Just like to see the independent validation of what we have been told. No big deal surely considering what’s involved.

Just wondering what might happen if you did see it and, for what ever reason, it didnt convince you?

But all that was disclosed in detail in advance of the vote ! If you had any queries that was the time to raise them ! The contracts have now been signed ready to start work !

Then get yourself elected and you can see everything you want if you dont trust two boards who have been entrusted to do exactly what you would like. Unless of course you have some skill or attribute you wish to share that you dont feel either board has the capability of doing?

Why the funny attitude?! It’s an independent validation of what we have all seen surely, which obviously draws the same conclusions. So why would seeing and reading the report sanctioned by both Boards be an issue?! Some people are very prickly about things which should be open and transparent and in everyone’s interest.
