Cambridge's first nominated for goal of the round.
The others must be crap as Pete says Cameron should have stopped it, if either of the goals should count it should be Knibbs not necessarily the finish but how it defied an offside flag, as FBH would say still fuming!

Morey gets my vote

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
It’s been reported that the Grecians have received a official apology from the match officials about the decision to reverse the offside given against Cambridge’s Sam Smith...*****

Moral of the story..Crowd & bully officials to make them change a decision.

Like this Government just words with no moral backbone, are they going to recompense us for the loss of income or even the FA perhaps as their employers - Fat Chance. #morefumingthanLiverpool

I suppose it's progress that we've received an apology which is more than we got after the Bradford debacle. However, it's so frustrating to then see exactly the same sort of p!ss-poor refereeing last night.

Thanks for that FA. Where's our compensation for missing out on a trip to a PL team?

Also looks like it's a double whammy according to MT -

“The consequence of the decision of the referee was even more hurtful as we might not be able to recruit in January on the back of the money that we won’t get,” Taylor said.

“If we had a replay and then we won that, we have a chance to go to Newcastle, then finances wouldn’t be an issue, but that’s the consequence of a mistake and a huge mistake.”

The absolute MINIMUM is that the FA :
1. recind MT's yellow card given for protesting the officials now ADMITTED incorrect decision
2. pay us whatever the Cambridge win bonus was
3. plus 50% of any TV fees at Newcastle

Why should they rescind the card? You don't know how Taylor protested the decision or what sort of language he might have used. Just because a decision is incorrect doesn't give you carte blanche to behave how you like (not saying he did, but there may well be a perfectly valid reason not to rescind a booking, including the fact that, I believe, bookings can't be overturned as reds can).
