Yes, I'm sure I read that he's 17 in December. Still young to be #1 next August...but he'll have experience, like tonight, under his belt/gloves.Reckon the DoB must be wrong, otherwise he would only have been 14 when he was on the bench last autumn.
Have we had other young #1s? Paul Jonesy was 19 if I recall, Pym and Hamon also beys when they got the nod.
