Plus, although he only came on as a second half sub, he scored a brilliant late header to win a Under 23 PL Cup match against Doncaster in November 2019.Gary Warren might not have made much of an impact on the first team pitch but he was excellent with Dyer and Hartridge in the u23 and Trophy games he played. Hopefully Alfie will get some of that benefit at Tivvy.
Bright yellow at Tiverton, actually. You need dark glasses to watch them when it's sunny.Poor lad, going from colour to black and white
Yes, puzzling isn't it? Everything else by way of loan announced as a season long/6 month loan rather than this very woolly 'short term' wording. Anyone know if there is any technical reason (u18?) or can speculate as to the reasoning? (Tivvy have a very short term need? City think he might be needed in the first team squad? City want to keep their options open?)Am surprised it's only a short-term loan but it's a good level for a player that young to be playing at so it definitely seems like he's being fast tracked.
We clearly have high expectations for Pond but you'd think Dyer and Diabate would still be ahead of him in the pecking order.Yes, puzzling isn't it? I think they have a few injury worries in defence, Woody missed the last game so Neil Martin had to play LB, which leaves them short of cover at CB as Martin covers that position as well.Yes, puzzling isn't it?
