George Ray was captain at Crewe also…not sure about Dieng I think he needs to prove he’s good enough to get in our midfield first and that’s he’s better than Big Nige.. MJ perfect choice-big big season coming up for him

Judging by the amount of defenders/ lineups in preseason we are going 343. With 1 GK incoming, we'd only need to draft in 3 'kids' to be able to field 3 11s. The second one doesn't even look that bad for L2 to be fair. I hope I haven't forgotten anyone...

in MT's latest interview he says something about a defensive back line of 3 or 5, possibly 4. It sounded to me as if 4 at the back was going to be used, but nothing like as much as in previous seasons.

So I think we now have the starting line up sorted...as per Ryan's post with Dawson in goal and,as Dieng won't have enough game time, Atangana instead for the first game

( I think of the formation as 3-4-2-1 with Jay and Randall behind Nombe)
