And again that was last year before games with no fans, but then for Salford probably not much different
Clearly they won't have produced the results ending June 2021 yet!

Obviously, perhaps that's why Mr Neville is earning extra pocket money on the TV

How are clubs allowed to continue rack up debt at a ridiculous speed? I mean Salford are £9m in the red and have a turnover of a fraction of that, with no apparent plan to get back to zero. They should be banned from signing players as a bare minimum.

Hardly a level playing field is it?

The debt itself is not the issue; as we've seen at Wigan and Bury and Swindon the problem comes when owners are no longer willing or able to service that debt. The football authorities either need to stop clubs running up debt in the first place or do a better job of making sure that there are better guarantees in place to make sure owners are able to keep the club in business.

Never has been and probably never will be. More evidence here from Kieran Maguire that Forest Green owe their owner over 5 million pounds and that MK Dons had an operating loss of 4 million pounds in their promotion season. Personally I think a lot more transparency would be a good starting point; if we had a better idea of how much other clubs are spending it would be much easier to assess how good a job our manager is doing.

As suspected Salford spending money they don't have

As for the comment referring to "hiding behind legislation" it is to our own great shame that our Club Board steadfastly continues to do exactly the same, despite attempts down the years by Trust Members to bring about change. It is disgraceful that our Club should still hide behind "Abbreviated Accounts", we set our sights on decent and ethical operating standards in every sphere of our operations, yet dismally fail in this regard !

Far away across the field
Newport have their first match switched to an away fixture, due to the state of their pitch

I don't know why the club don't just publish them but they have, in the past been available by e-mailing the club. https://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/news/2020/january/shareholders-agm/

But those are shirley just the same old Abbreviated Accounts which you can access from Companies House anyway ? The Club uses the legal loophole of not submitting full accounts by virtue of size of it's turnover being beneath the minimum threshold.
