I wouldn't have remembered it was called Destiny One but i do remember taking a record in there to see if was interested in buying it and he offered me 10p. The transaction didn't complete.

Pat Rice - not that one - who ran Destiny One, I believe, is still trading online. My brother found him when looking for prog rock, and Mr Rice was using the Queens Road Auction Rooms address (I think).
I was like a kid who had free rein in a sweet shop in his shop.
A single by JJ Burnel-Girl from the Snow Country-that was released by UA without his permission & hastily withdrawn after legal action found its way into his record rack.Snapped up by yours truly.😁

Record companies copyright auditors would have had a field day in his shop,though to be honest some of the stuff was fairly obscure demos & live recordings for collectors more than anybody else.

Highfield Road too until they were banned after a irate Coventry supporter in one drove it onto the pitch at the ref after the game 😁
