So did we a few weeks ago. Now we have 5 games in hand on Cambridge, 6 points behind. What position would Yu rather have?
Cambridge currently getting smashed 3-0 at H/T at Salford.

Trying to arrange a match on February evening with the winter we have had was always going to be a risk.Having a cut off date for this season could put in jeopardy finishing the season.

Answers on a postcard please.

Are the lads staying over tonight? Couldn't the game be played tomorrow dinnertime / early afternoon? Pitch permitting.

All in all some t*t has ruined my evening and i want to know who.
The match was already subject to a dinner time kick off.

I think we all expected a postponement given the freezing weather combined with it being a evening KO.

It would have been easy to call it off at midday but then many would have said that was too early to make that call..
It's about common sense and most likely outcome based on the info at hand. The info at hand was that the pitch was unplayable at 12pm and the forecast was for minus 1 and below for the rest of the day / night.

Barrow must have thought they could get it playable by using the heaters and thus were playing for time. Time that was wasted for our lads. Tinpot, amateur set up and hopefully they'll be going straight back down to the NL.

You can get winter weather any time from December onwards. We got married on the 5th April 2008 in Buckinghamshire in deep snow. There is no way the fixtures can be designed round winter weather.

Now now Leggsy. I feel your pain but at least the lads have had a nice little day out in glorious Lakeland - a luxury denied to most of us mere mortals during the current lockdown restrictions. :D
To be fair, Barrow is hardly glorious lakeland unless the coach went on a quick diversion getting there!

It'll be okay Ian. I was in the same situation when the first game was postponed. They said to apply it to tonights match, which I did. When I logged on for tonights game, I didnt have to pay, it just let me all the way through to 'Watch match live'. You cant apply the payment to any other game though, just the one v Barrow, whenever that might be!
