How are things in the East Indies. I read cases were back up on the rise out there?
They've been pretty tight about the lockdowns.. Schools have been closed all through the lockdowns but are reopening in January. Many shops are closed and
WFH is the standard for office workers.
Of course, some will question the accuracy of the stats, but nobody here seems to be doubting them, not even on social media, which is totally
open and forthright. There have been no problems about food supplies - things would kick off if there were - and solidarity payments/food parcels are regularly distributed. to the have - littles.
Overall people just seem to be getting on with it - nowhere near as much controversy here as in the UK.
One advantage here is that things are done on a much more community-based approach, and the chain between the community up to the mayor and the governor seems to work well.
