In how many seasons? Not exactly a spectacular record for a lower league manager mate
Never said he was spectacular just correcting your comment that he was a specialist in relegation.

Especially as the stats show he is three times the "specialist" in promotion than relegation. Although didn't he have three or four promotions at Team Bath? Everyone has opinions but...

I grew up in the era just before Tisdale's reign, watching some dross and depressing football. Tisdale gave me my best years as a city fan, although I never joined the Tisdale out brigade, things did sour and I do think he should have left a couple of seasons earlier than he did. But it isn't the blokes fault that we handed him a 2 year-roller, in fact when he signed it, it was in the best interest of the club when we thought he was going to be poached by some bigger clubs for big compensation. I'm certainly not going to hate the man because he didn't choose to walk into unemployment. He is without doubt ,one of, if not the most successful manager we've ever had, just because he aggravated a few of us on the way out doesn't change that.

I wish him the best at Rovers, but I won't be checking in on his results, because I left Tisdale where he belongs, in the history books/Ted Baker catalogues .

Seriously follow me and lump money on Rovers getting relegated 😂 Tisdale is a specialist at getting teams relegated and doing **** in League 1 easy money!!!!
You ought to push it a little further east along the M4. Swindon under Sheridan is where your money should be.

Sheridan has actually won a league title, Tisdale will never do that with his safety first stuff

He also finished 6th in League One with Oldham :)

At the end of the day Sheridan and Tisdale are both average lower league managers.

Always surprises me how Sheridan keeps getting positions. He's had about 10 jobs in the last 6 years.

As TPC says, he's like Tisdale - average and can do a half decent job. If anyone thinks he's terrible, they must think that about PT as well.

Can you name any City player that you've seen play who has gone on to play for England?
I watched Dermot Curtis playing for City when he was picked for the Republic of Ireland. Good player too.

So did I. Not English though 🙂
