Bernie or no Bernie they follow the cash no matter the host or quality of track (both in Sochi's case).

They're really struggling to stay in the track

A tonne of water on what was already a slippery track. Makes it interesting.

Stroll on pole 😮. What a session that was. All down to who could get heat into their tyres and make them work. Could be an interesting race tomorrow although I am expecting Verstappen to check out in front.

Must admit I was wincing seeing them tippy-toeing round the track and snaking out of the bends at the slightest touch of the throttle. Ridiculous skill at 150mph! Tomorrow will be interesting if the conditions remain the same, we could see half the grid fail to finish.

Perez must have been kicking himself for taking a trip though that gravel trap on his final lap handing pole to Daddy’s boy....Max looked super hacked off slumped down between a wall and a skip after the interviews.

Max thought he had it. Racing Point rolled the dice on the inters and it paid off. You needed to be on them throughout the session to get the heat into them. By the time Max had got his up to temp it was too late, he needed another lap.
