They couldn't manage it, though.

I was going to post "Dead for a Duckett, dead!" last night, but didn't think RP would appreciate a smartarse yokel misquoting Shakespeare.
Good work Dogster (y)

Did you contribute to the short lived and not very popular Poetry Quiz thread that I started in 2011 ?

Didn't remember that one at all. Research shows that I failed to contribute. :(

Not Lord's, but the House of Lords, for Lord Botham today.

Where are they now? Pete Trego in action for his new club, Norwich City.

Red-ball cricket will have a similar three leagues of six teams format in 2021. Somerset, Hants, Sorry and Middx all in the same group!

You missed out Leicestershire.

Two top teams in each group to go into a Division 1 and top two in that get the Lord's final. Looks like the team to top the Division 1 are County Champions and the Lord's play off is for the Bob Willis trophy. Possible double ?

Email from Somerset CCC has come to me without the detail set out  so these comments are from the Hampshire CCC email

With that 12-point penalty, it's just as well there are ten games in the group stage instead of five.
