Because it's awful, encourages terrible football and it makes games farcical. Taylor highlighted it as a priority a while ago, but recognised the cost made it prohibitive. I'm reasonably sure a million was the amount required to sort it out.

Surprised at the lack of suggestions omitting remedying losses and safeguarding against losses for the foreseeable. I’d love a CB more than most but club safety is the most important outlay, surely?!

I would hope that Taylor has been on the phone to A Martin this afternoon. Better the devil you know and IMHO, he is better than any of the defenders City currently have.

& quite a few posters will agree with you. IMO if we sign another striker I don't think we'd get one who would be much better than Nicky Ajose. From what I've seen of him in pre season, he looks sharp, fit & his effort & attitude look to be just fine. I hope he can re-establish himself in the team.
