Dick Plumb in action at Crewe 7/10/72.
He scored 11 goals that season as a Centre Forward.Fred Binney scored 28 playing off Plumb.

Must have been around this time that ITV ran a competition asking the connection between three players they showed footage of: Trevor Cherry, David Peach and Steve Grapes.
