I would have thought the 'Unofficial' Obit thread could have gone on WOWS now (albeit temporary) what with recent heavy traffic.

Dear Hants et al.
Since we live in a multi-cultural society where people come in all shades, i wondered if it is possible that we could add some emoticons which reflect that.
I.mean for example shades of colour from white through brown to black for faces, thumbs up etc.
It's not a question of being politically correct but just to represent our fan- base and Exeweb base a bit more accurately
Just a friendly comment : no criticism intended.

Great idea Mike. Do you think you'll be able to deal with any changes it might make to the layout of emoticons, or will you just post "**smiley emoji that I can't find**"?

These varying colour emojis are available to me on my five year old Samsung and I use them. Good call Mike.

Just catching up with this thread - must admit I'm surprised that this promotion of socialism in action wasn't called out by one of our resident Tories. Is Jason still functioning as a mod?

Jason has gone AWOL Stroudy. We could do with your great detective skills to trace him.

I can use them on my WhatsApp but not on fb or Exeweb or anything else.
I don't use my laptop much for Exeweb but I don't think I can use them there, either
Thanks for the heads up anyway and glad you like the idea. Think it's time Exeweb escaped the image of being solely for aging, miserable old whiteys ..😉
