Now I have actually heard of Trevor Cherry. Never seen him play as before my time but always sad to see an ex pro pass on.

Oh FFS. ☹☹

Loved that man with his Hammond Keyboard in the early Stranglers day..Always looked a bit like a he should be in a 60s psychedelic band.

Don Shula yesterday, one of the greatest NFL coaches in history, famous for taking the Miami Dolphins on the perfect season through to Super Bowl victory in 1972. A feat still to this day unsurpassed.

Very sad news that. :(

Big Stranglers fan here in Tebbern.

It seems that although he contracted COVID-19 he had other serious health issues.

He wrote what became Golden Brown which marked a gentler style of music from the usual stuff of the Band; ignoring the lyrics of course ! Was their biggest hit I think.

RIP

He made the Stranglers stand out from other bands of their genre in that era,1977/82.

One of my favourite keyboards of many was the mesmerising intro & continuation in the 1980 single Bear Cage.

I’m going to bang on Rattus Norvegicus at full blast later on...
