Haven't those countries either managed the peak through mass testing (missed the boat on that one) or have got over the peak to enable them to do so? Until that happens in the UK the lockdown will continue no matter what anyone wishes. Also it has been shown that it is not just the vulnerable in danger to this virus. Testing is key and that is what the government should be held to account for.Not really, Geoff. Fortunately, I don't need the money, but virtually everyone, except those working for the government, will face a very uncertain future if this situation is extended beyond May..I'm suggesting a solution which is already being implemented by a number of countries, who are slowly lifting restrictions whilst maintaining a shield for the vulnerable. We seem to be blundering on with the only strategy being lockdown.
