Given the dearth of sporting action, was just wondering if anyone else might be interested in a sweepstake on Saturday's big race.
I was thinking in terms of £10 per ticket, with the prize money divvied up as follows:
First: £200
Second: £50
Third: £30
Fourth: £20
That will leave a surplus of £100 which I thought we could gift to Exeter City Community Trust in recognition of all the work it's doing across Exeter and beyond to help with the coronavirus.
Anyway, I'm in, leaving 39 other places. If you'd like to join me, sign up on this thread and, assuming there's sufficient interest by, say, 10pm this evening, I'll sort out the practicalities.
Virtual Grand National: Runners and riders as Tiger Roll heads betting
The real Aintree Grand National may be cancelled, but horse racing fans still have the chance to watch the virtual version, as well as a 'race of champions'
