I really can't see any more football being played until July at the earliest.
Nor me. Season over.

Manageable if we can get up and running again in seven weeks time at the end of April.

nine league games in May, five Saturday and four midweek games. Play offs in first fortnight of June.
start next season in mid August

I guarantee one thing: whatever the sensible, logical option is, the FA will do the opposite.

Obviously the announcement that the season will resume April 3/4 at the earliest is to give the clubs and football authorities time to sort some of the problems out.
Clearly they don't mean that the season will really resume April 3/4. They can hardly be expected to know right now what to do.
My guess is that the season will be completed in August. No long break will be necessary because the players will already have had 4 months break. The next season could start mid-September.
For contractual reasons it might be difficult to cancel all the subsidiary tournaments, but if they can it might be the best thing.
It's a fark up, but unfortunately deadly virus do not take into account the football calendar
Anyway, in the end it's all speculation.
The main thing is that the number of virus fatalities can be as limited as possible.
We all hate the fact that our football and City will disappear for months, but we have to put it into perspective
Stay safe.

According to this article Cobra made an urgent call to the football authorities yesterday.
The forecast is that there could be no football until at least September.

That’s much more realistic. 4 April? No chance.

Yep. The April 3 was just a date to give them breathing space to try to find the longer time solution.

Couple of ideas from Tranmere on BBC Breakfast about how they are going to keep a bit of money coming into the club they have already decided to bring season ticket sales forward for next season as well opening their shop for longer hours.

Football finance expert Kieran Maguire saying today that if the fixtures are not completed in full the final outcome of the season will be decided by the courts.
