From what I've reading many (most?) clubs will have insurance against this sort of thing, but unlikely it would pay out in full.

What seems daft to me, is that games are postponed at time where we are nowhere near the inevitable peak...I would have thought a more sensible solution woould be to postpone a little later, perhaps a week or so before Easter when the schools could close too...So all an effective lockdown across all aspects of society could happen then....Premature, in my opinion..

I'm guessing the main factor in postponement is the realisation that, with self isolation, playing squads will be affected.
This would have a more distorting effect on results than playing behind closed doors would.
