MJ has certainly made it hard for MT to leave him out. Since Collins and Big Nige seem to have formed a good combination, it has to be Law or MJ.
Give him a run Sir Matt : no harm in Law getting a few weeks off to recover from his great efforts so far.

Law hasn't been in the form he showed throughout last season, obviously still has shown his quality at times, but when Jay is in the form of his life it makes sense to give him a run of league games! I feel the Pompey game is bad timing for Jay though and he will be playing in that one, with Law resuming League duty on Saturday.

Since we beat Stevenage 3-0 (Jay2) in the leasing.com:

next three games without MJ - no wins, one point, two goals

three games after that with MJ - three wins, nine points, ten goals

Can't argue with those stats.

Those stats are tosh. One player doesn’t determine a result, especially three results. It was a team effort when we win, and when we lose.

Rather ignores the fact the first three games were against teams now in the top 7 and the second three against teams in the bottom 7.

May speak for itself, but tells you absolutely nothing. Post 115 is right, it's a team game.

Agree with that too. But Jay's form recently has been a big difference!

Absolutely correct. Team game of course, but what Jay has been bringing to it has helped sharpen things up.
