Since the recent alterations I am now required to log in TWICE. First one is not recognised, second one absolutely fine !

I'm getting this too.
Also:
Some things need to be opened in a new tab.
The browser logs me back out even though I've clicked the' 'remember me' option.
And this time when I logged in I got the message 'you have used an incorrect sign in' even though I was actually logged in and able to access the forums by clicking the link.

I had these problems last week, but have just logged out and back in using Firefox and Chrome and not had an issue.

Fair enough Hants, but what about those of us who don't or do not wish to use Firefox or Chrome ?

What I should have said was that I was trying to replicate the problem to see where it lies, but couldn't. Naming the browsers was just adding to the information.

I looked in the admin area this morning and couldn't find anything obvious.
