"one respectfully suggests that one ought to sort it out, Tisdalethorpe" (?)
and comments to the officials like "I say, old chap, that was an indifferent decision on which you might like to reflect" or "based on a reasoned observation of the facts, our player did not appear to be infringing the offside law".

You go me on the alarm clock

"Perchance, Mister Referee, you ought to have considered a visit to a certain chain of high street specialist opticians offering corrective eyewear at affordable prices*?"

(*other opticians are available)

Here you go

Looking at their pen again their player certainly made the most of it seeing as ours were getting pulled every which way inside the box , just a pity Pym wasn't able to get down a fraction earlier. Tilson silly bugger and not needed but again their player not reacting til after the incident makes him look stupid
It is an 'interesting' reaction - gets up totally unscathed and protesting then falls to the ground on the whistle before deciding which knee is injured and calling for attention. Definite red card for Tillson though.

If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
Not a problem with the card he was stupid but their whole team seemed to make the most of anytime we even touched them !

Couldn't see who of ours got nailed just outside the box towards the away end ? and the ref did nothing.

Either he was well and truly conned by FGR players or he was under some influence not to give anything our way [tap] .

To me they are rated the same as Wycombe from now on.

Stockley was magnificent,
I wouldn't go quite that far, he barely had an impact on the game until he scored. Still, he's doing what he's getting paid to do, which is putting the ball in the net.

That starting line-up contained the least midfield skill or general width that I can remember for a long time. Consequently, the style of play was truly awful. A halfway decent side would have put us to the sword long before Tisdale got round to bringing on someone with attacking intent.
We desperately need a David Nobel type of midfielder in the January window.

Can't understand how Edwards doesn't get a start in the absence of Holmes. Starting midfield looks absolutely pedestrian.

Yeah just being on the end of lofted clearances doesn't suit his strengths, he's no Wheeler when it comes to using his head. When we play with players that can get to the goal line and then cross, well we know what Stockley can do in those circumstances!
Last night he put in every effort, noticeably with his extra work in a defensive role when we were a man short. After two hours of running around (which is a lot for a big man) he still had the energy and enthusiasm to stretch for Boateng's cross. 5 FA cup goals in 3 matches. Don't knock it.

Presumably Tillson got his arse kicked righteously by all and sundry in the changing room afterwards for two frankly ridiculous challenges. To be honest he should have been booked twice for each foul: once for the challenge and once for the sheer stupidity. The second one especially was particularly dim witted. I hope Tisdale leaves him in the stands for the next couple of games - idiocy on that scale has no place on a football pitch.
