For me these type of things should be organised to celebrate success

We didn't achieve success so why celebrate

Just my opinion
Don't be a berk. I presume you have a presentation night at your football and cricket clubs every season?

I dont object to the event, I do however object to Tagg and Tisdale making fun of exewebbers with their attempts at ridiculing the petiton. I dont know about Tagg, but I thought Tisdale had more class about him than that, with his "they should sign the petition" s**t!

An amateur club having a **** up isn't the same as a professional
Club making a big deal of another mediocre season

Of course it is. No difference at all. There will still be people whose efforts deserve to be recognised, individuals who have achieved. For instance, are we not supposed to have a player of the season award just because we didn't achieve what we all hoped for as a club? Lighten up Mr Mood Hoover.

Whatever anyone else may say, i do have a certain amount of sympathy or empathy with Pate's POV as i believe that it would have been better for the powers that be to have not commented at all on this particular subject.

They're not making a big deal of another mediocre season though.

For all the debate on the ball, it was genuinely a bloody good night!
Nice to sit and have a very nice meal with good friends and the team I love. prefect!

In addition it was good to talk to the players, Tis and Taggy; who were all very down to earth, open and honest.
Ok some silly things may have been said, but who hasn't said something silly?
Mrs M loved it! and wants to go next year!
expect to see you there next year Ant!
