Could Jevani Brown rejoin Exeter?

In an interview with Radio Devon, Grecian boss Gary Caldwell indicated that Jevani Brown could rejoin Exeter City.

The Club released Jevani Brown earlier this month and he has not played for the club since January after being charged with assault.

Brown admitted one charge in March but faces trial on a second charge, that he denies, at Exeter Crown Court in July.

Gary Caldwell told BBC Radio Devon:-

It’s still something that might come back up, so we’ll see how that goes over the summer.

As a footballer he’s a fantastic player and he’s contributed a lot to this club this season.

But obviously his off-field problems have stopped him playing for the second half of the season, so we need to see how that develops.

It’s slim, but the option is there should it come about.

Jevani was voted the club’s Players’ Player of the Year at the end of season awards. He’s scored 14 goals in the last season and assisted in a further 9 goals. Jevani was a key player for Exeter and his abiity and contribution would mean he’d welcome back by many fans.
