Goalkeeper Jack Arthur, who was recently promoted to the first team, has joined Southern League Division One side Bideford on a six month loan deal.
Jack played 90 minutes for the Robins in their 1-0 friendly win over Tavistock on Saturday and also featured in the first half of City’s Tuesday night friendly match with Weston-super-Mare.
Matt Taylor said:-
Jack will be part of their pre-season schedule, and he played for them on Saturday.
We need to find the right balance in terms of game time and we need to keep him playing for ourselves whenever possible. There’s a reason we send our young boys out on loan – it helps them get to where they need to be.
