Initial TV Games Chosen for 2019/20 Season
The EFL and Sky Sports have chosen five fixtures to show live on the opening weekend of the new football season. Opening the new season will be back to back promoted Luton Town at home to Middlesbrough.
Newly promoted Salford will have their first ever league game televised, as they entertain Stevenage at Moor Lane. That game will be the lunchtime offering. Salford are expected to have a number of their games televised this season.
Three Championship games will complete the weekend. The list of game will be:-
- Friday 2 August Luton Town v Middlesbrough 19.45pm
- Saturday 3 August Salford City v Stevenage 12.30pm
- Saturday 3 August Nottingham Forest v West Bromwich Albion 17.30pm
- Sunday 4 August Bristol City v Leeds United 16.30pm
- Monday 5 August Huddersfield Town v Derby County 19.45pm
