Ollie Watkins in Football League’s Team of the Week

The Football League has selected 11 players and a manager for whom they think have had an excellent Easter weekend. The selected, as a forward, Exeter’s youngster Ollie Watkins.ollie_watkins_feat

He played well and scored a headed goal for the Grecians on Easter Monday at Crawley in a 2-0 win, and also played at St James Park on Good Friday in a 1-1 draw against Barnet.

Watkins has now scored 5 times in 15 appearances this season, having recently entertained travelling Grecians at Notts County with a goal and a man of the match performance. The 20-year-old has also attracted the attention of scouts.
