Striker Alex Fisher has moved on according to Exeter’s manager Paul Tisdale.
The 25-year-old, who’d previously played for Mansfield Town and Oxford United, came to the Cat & Fiddle on trial at the beginning of July. He joined the club on their tour of Scotland, starting the game against East Fife and coming on as a substitute against Arbroath. He also started against Weston-Super-Mare and came on as a substitute against Fluminense under 19s.
He wore the number 31 shirt, meaning that there was much speculation as to whether he would be the fans funded player. However, his miss in front of goal at Arbroath meant that he did not endear himself to the fans their to witness it!
A new number 31 is therefore needed and the fund is still in need of new subscribers. Exeweb.com will be bringing you more on the fund soon, and in particular how you can help fund a new player.
