13 non league teams are still in the competition, with 3 non league guaranteed to
be in the hat for the 3rd round. The three all non league ties are Wrexham/Maidstone United, Gateshead/Warrington Town and Southport/Eastleigh. The 3rd round would be uncharted territory for Warrington and Eastleigh.

The 2nd round kicks of with a North East derby as Hartlepool host Blyth Spartans and will be live on BBC 2. Conference side Wrexham will be playing Isthmian Premier league side Maidstone (who beat Stevenage in round 1) and will be live on BBC Wales. Exeter’s conquerors Warrington Town will visit Gateshead for BT Sport’s first live game on Sunday.FACup_pic

Conference sides Southport take on fellow conference side Eastleigh who’ have on their books former Exeter players Craig McAllister, Stuart Fleetwood and Chris Todd. Conference North side Worcester City who knocked out League 1 opposition Coventry City at the Ricoh, will be looking forward to their trip to Scunthorpe.

Struggling Conference Premier side Dartford will look forward to the distraction of a trip to League 1 Bradford City on Sunday, as will Dover Athletic visiting Cheltenham Town. The Robins have just appointed former Exeter City assistant boss Rob Edwards as32farnham_camberley_FACup 2nd in command to Paul Buckle. Chester have a difficult tie at Barnsley, as do AFC Telford who visit Ashton Gate to take on League 1 leaders Bristol City. Aldershot will have been disappointed with getting a tie against Rochdale, but with it being at the Rec it’s an eminently winnable tie.
