Chesterfield on the Visit of Exeter
Paul Cook, manager of Chesterfield, talking ahead of the visit of the Grecians has called upon supporters to turn out in their droves to cheer the Spireites on against Exeter in the 
penultimate home game of the season. He said:
Friday’s game at home to Exeter City is now our biggest game of the season.
There are just four games remaining this season and we need to do everything we can to cross the line as quickly as possible. I would appeal for as many fans as possible to attend the Proact to help us achieve our aim of picking up th
ree points to move a step closer to where we want to be at the end of the season.
Exeter are not to be underestimated. Paul (Tisdale) is a fantastic young manager. He can change styles and they’ll come wanting to pass and play. In the next year or two, Exeter are going to be a force to be reckoned with due to what they’re doing off the pitch.”
The influential Spirites midfielder Gary Roberts has said that it has to be 3 points against relegation threatened Exeter.
We have got to expect to win the game. They’ll [fans expect us to win the game. At this point of the season you’ve got to win the game.
If you win 1-0 or 4-0, however you play, it’s got to be a ‘W’ next to your name. That’s what we’ve worked on all week. It might not be pretty at times, but we’ll do our best.
