He reffed the game against Wycombe Wanderers back in October which ended in a 1-1 draw. He was unable and ref_liningtonunwilling to do anything about the time wasting tactics by Ainsworth’s team and left the field at half time and full time to audible derision by the travelling Exeter City fans. The Club’s management also made sure that they were far from happy with his inability to handle the game properly.
