Daniel Nardiello has signed an 18 month contract with Bury after Rotherham United agreed to release him. It was expected after he moved to Bury on loan back in November. Just before Bury visited St James Park Nards explained how Bury were the perfect club for him (see here).

Nards has made 11 appearances for Bury and scored 5 goals, including one against Exeter nardiello_buryCity. 10 goals for the season. Talking on the Bury club website he said:-

This is good for me and good for the club. It gives me that added security, but it’s not just that, it’s being a part of something special that is happening at this club.

There are a number of things here that excite me starting with the chairman. He’s obviously investing in the club; he’s already put a lot of work into the club and he has an aim of where he wants this club to be, and thankfully for me, he wants me to be a part of that.

Secondly there is the manager, I’ve only worked with him for a short while but he is one of the best managers I have worked with. He goes about things the right way and he wants to play football the right way. He’s very infectious on all the players, not just me. Also with my family being so close and living in Bury, it’s just perfect all round.
