High Praise for Exeter City FC from Shoot Magazine

The January edition of the Shoot magazine has a nice story about a 5 year old boy’s firstshoot_story trip to a football match and how Exeter City FC went the extra mile to make the day special for the boy. A reminder that individuals within the Club do care about the reputation of the Grecians.

This is what happened. The designer for Shoot magazine, Jonathan Finch, took his son to his football match in November (the Bury home game). Having spoke to the Club beforehand to find the best place and seats, was told that the Old Grandstand was the best place to be. When they got to the ground they found that they had seats at the front of the Executive Box and access to the Executive lounge. It seems the young boy thoroughly enjoyed his first game.

Incidentally the game finished 2-2, the last time we got any points at home. David Wheeler and Tom Nichols the scorers for Exeter.

The story can also be viewed on the online version of Shoot magazine, here.
