No doubt this will have everyone checking out the original settlement from the The Professional Football Compensation Committee (PFCC) on what exactly it said about appearances. That settlement can be read here. So, former Grecian defender Troy Archibald-Henville has now joined League 1 outfit Carlisle United on a month loan. Troy has been recovering from a knee injury and missed out the rest of the season having gone to Italy for knee surgery (read here). troy

So far Troy has made 8 appearances for Swindon Town, scoring 1 goal.

Carlisle’s manager Greg Abbott said of the loan:-

Troy is a big defender who has experience at this level. He’s tough and he can play a bit of football, and he joins us at a time when we need a bit of cover in that area.

He’s another who is versatile and, as with all moves like this, it’s one which should benefit all parties concerned.

If the move is approved then he’s expected to feature tomorrow in the game away to Brentford.
