Brazilians Can See Exeter City v AFC Wimbledon for Free

In a generous offer by Exeter City FC, Brazilians will be able to get in to St James Park for free. The match on against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday 17th August has been designated Brazil Day. Now an annual event by the Club. The day is to celebrate the Grecians unique relationship with Brazilian football. brazil_flag

Exeter City chief executive Julian Tagg said:-

We’re delighted to welcome our Brazilian friends with open arms to St James Park for the AFC Wimbledon match, where we’ll be celebrating an important and unique relationship that we have with Brazil and their whole footballing culture.

Brazil and its people are a big part of our own history as a club, and they are always welcome at St James Park. We would love to see a big Brazilian contingent for the Wimbledon game, to help make it a colourful and energetic atmosphere.brazil_thumb

Fans are urged to make this a colourful day, by wearing the normal red & white or by wearing yellow. The samba band Samba Marcianas will also be providing part of the on pitch celebrations.

The Club have said that:-

The free-ticket offer is open to Brazilian passport-holders who bring their passport into Reception before close-of-play on Friday 16th August, on a one-per-person basis.
