Police were satisfied with the Devon Derby between Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City passing off with few incidents. 160 police officers from Devon and Cornwall and from South Wales were on duty.

There were a few incidents during the game, including a small pitch invasion by Argyle fans when the goal was scored, and missiles thrown by Argyle fans towards City fans after the game. 3 arrests were made for public order offences.

The D&C Constabulary have said:-

Devon and Cornwall Police would like to thank supporters from Plymouth and Exeter and officials from both clubs for their positive engagement with the Police.

A small minority of individuals attempted to engage in disorder in the vicinity of the ground after the match but were dispersed by police. … the vast majority of fans were well-behaved.
