On This Day: 25th February

A Devon derby to look back on. On 25th February 1976 Torquay United were the visitors. We were 6th in Division 4, hadn’t lost for 7 games and confidence was high. 8112 turned up for the game. The result was 0-0, but far from being a dull game. Either side could have won it, and Exeter City surely did enough to do so.
