Former Exeter City defender Chris Todd will be on Channel 4 tomorrow evening (Monday 14th October) singing in a choir.

He may have never sung in public before, however he has been involved with a group of 35 people, of varying ages old, that have been drawn together by the cancer charity Tenovus.  The Big C choir is set to make its television debut tomorrow night in Sing for Your Life on Channel 4 at 8pm. He should also be making an appearance on ITV’s This Morning on Monday morning.

Its been a busy week for Chris. On Tuesday his wife gave birth to Theo. He also has gone on loan to Hereford United and made his debut for them whilst his wife was in labour!

Chris was diagnosed with leukaemia in November 2008, and was still on the bench that Saturday in Torquay’s Conference game at Woking.  Chris has written a book which documents this part of his life and his successful recovery,  “More than Football in the Blood”, which is worth reading.
