Happy Birthday to Tom Nichols and Jamie Cureton

A happy birthday to Tom Nichols, 19 today (28th August) and to our veteran Striker Jamie Cureton, 37 today

It was a year and a day ago that Tom became one of the youngest players ever to score for Exeter City when he scored against Chesterfield in our 2-1 win. Tom is currently enjoying his loan spell with Hereford United, and is getting rave reviews from Bulls fans. He’ll be celebrating today by playing at Newport County. Will he be able to score past former Exeter City goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley?

Jamie Cureton signed on with the Grecians at the end of July, hoping that he’ll emulate one of his most successful goal scoring seasons, when he was with Exeter City in the 2010/11 season. Already this season Jamie has scored a brace at the Recreation Ground in a famous 2-1 win over Aldershot. I’m sure Jamie’s day will be a lot quieter than Tom’s.
