Our Polish born goalkeeper reaches the age of 23 today. Artur Krysiak is about to start his 3rd season with Exeter City as their number 1.

Artur came to Birmingham City in July 2007 as a teenager, while he never played for the Blues first team, he did go out on loan to Gretna, York, Swansea, Motherwell and Burton Albion. At Burton is almost ever-present. During those spells he made 47 appearances.

He cam to Exeter City on a free in July 2010. He spent that first season alternating with Paul Jones for time between the sticks. With Paul Jones leaving at the end of the 2010/11 season Artur Krysiak was made number 1 keeper, and Lenny Pidgeley came in as his deputy.

Having made his debut for the Grecians against Hereford in the JPT, where he kept a clean sheet, Artur has now made 56 appearances in all competitions in the 2 seasons he’s been with us.

Happy Birthday Artur. Let’s hope for an excellent season for you.
