Wycombe Wanderers have this afternoon announced their signing of ex-city legend Richard Logan on a 1-year deal.  Logie was not offered renewed terms by Paul Tisdale at the end of last season so joins the blues as a free agent.  A popular fans favourite – Logan, 30, had been with the Grecians since 2007.  His exit from City split opinion amongst fans with some arguing for the need for fresh blood whilst others campaigned for his return.

As Exeweb reported on Sunday, Logie tweeted that his continued career in the football league was set to be made certain this week.  Followers have watched Logie’s search for a club  for several weeks; as part of a strict fitness regime he has been tweeting videos of his runs all around the city – indicating his desire to continue and prompting speculation a shock return could be on the cards.  His transfer was made possible thanks to Wycombe’s temporary transfer embargo being lifted yesterday – in place due to a lack of filed accounts.  Logan marks the 6th new addition to the Chairboys’ squad since then.  The club was last week taken over by their supporters’ trust.

Maybe we will get to see some Logie time next season after all!  City take on Wycombe in League 2 on 18th September at home and New Years Day at Adams Park.  All the best Richard and stay in touch!
