Match Day Ritual Raises £18k for the Club

The ritual of buying the Supporters Club 50/50 draw tickets, prior to the game, has raised a record breaking amount of £18,497! Well done the volunteers of Exeter City’s Supporters Club.

The money is split between the winner and the Club’s youth football. All the money raised will help develop City’s stars of the future. Despite attendances being down on last season the money raised is an improvement of the previous season. The Supporters Club have set themselves a target of £20,000 in a season.

Is it part of your match day ritual? I always buy from the same seller, just inside the entrance from Stadium Way in the Big Bank. I use to spend only 50p on the one ticket, but after the Torquay United Boxing Day game, when the prize of over £1000 went to the next ticket sold after mine, I’ve always bought at least 2 tickets!
