I really don't mean this thread to be provocative (if anyone sees it this way), but I am genuinely interested to know if anyone else knows where our evangelical former MD ended up.

Does he ever come to games, for example? Another of my weird curiosities, I fully accept, but would be pleased if someone could enlighten me.

Last I heard was that he was working at Exeter Airport Chaplaincy, under the title of Pastor Ian Huxham.
Always liked his quote;
