The Topsham Taproom and Brewery. Down by the canal basin. Thought it was closed when I turned up on Saturday, as not a lot outside to show it's a pub. They brew a few of their own, the lace was not as pretentious as I was expecting.
Devon Red was available, booty.Did they have any Sandford Orchards ciders on?
Further and better particulars please.I went in the Duke of York last night which was quite an experience.
Brings back memories for me, lived about 3 miles from there when in the UK, and went in there quite a bitEgypt Mill in Nailsworth (home of Forest Green Rovers). A lovely old watermill hotel where we stayed for a few days while exploring the Cotswolds, great food and drink.
I can only speak about the pub rather than the accommodation but it's fine. There's a selection of beer which isn't massive but it's more than adequate and it's clean and tidy inside. You normally get quite a mix of people in there too.Is The Farmers Union any good?
We're staying there in September when we play down there.
I'll just say that some of the clientele were a little out of the ordinary.Further and better particulars please.
