Peter Ustinov's Dear Me is a fun read.Last Man Standing - Tales from Tinseltown by Sir Roger Moore
Similar stuff about Hollywood as told by David Niven all those years ago.
Loved The Moon’s a Balloon but not so keen on Bring on the Empty Horses.Last Man Standing - Tales from Tinseltown by Sir Roger Moore

I get your meaning although it may sail over the heads of others.Sounds a little bit too 'ighbrow for my tastes.
Does the Dowie section cover why he was REALLY mad at Dowie for leaving Palace?Be Careful What You Wish For. Simon Jordan.
Not the sort of book I'd normally bother with but it came recommended. Jordan is as forthright as you'd imagine him to be and, refreshingly for a football book, he names names. Ron Noades, Ian Dowie and even Clinton Morrison amongst many others get a real slating as he recounts his time as Palace owner.
John Inverdale's cover note reads " If you are a football fan and have not read this book, you are missing out ". I'd go along with that.
