Ecky Thump Someone died of laughter watching that episode iirc.

I came close to that once watch the Kipper & The Corpse episode when it was first shown.
Laughed so much I could not breathe.

Was the last episode of War of the Worlds. All I can suggest is don't mess with a fine story! Moving on to the post apocalyptic world, didn't add anything when seen through the eyes of Eleanor Tomlinson, and I did wonder if I had fallen asleep for 5 minutes and missed the demise of the aliens. It could have been so good, but wasn't.

Agree Hants, I watched the series too and as the last one was going on I kept thinking I've seen an ill alien but not the demise of them and we're running out of time for the story to end and the orange distopian world just didn't fit, Like you say, could have been so good but wasn't
