Good move for him. Professional football and he gets the game time he needs to develop. if he can keep away from injuries he has the potential to be a solid L1/L2 centre half.

I'm getting the impression that Matt wants his centre backs to be very tough physically and mentally. No messing, hard as nails types.

Shame about Troy as he was our best defender. Its the correct choice though taking in to account the injuries.

I'd imagine a League Two side will give him a one-year contract at least. Good centre halves are hard to come by at this level, he could be player of the season for any side at our level.
